The inception for this design grew out of the fascination of "Japanese culture", juxtaposing the schoolgirl image alongside the Rising Sun Flag (the flag of the Imperial Japanese Army). The back image is hand stenciled in 2 colors on crinkle cotton using non-toxic textile paint, cut in 3 panels and appliqued with black thread onto a black hoodie.
The front of the hoodie features the Japanese girl's face pinned on the left side with free form red stitching; this hand-stitching will vary from one hoodie to the next. The interior of the hood emanates rays of Rising Sun Flag. At the base of the hood are two nickel grommets. No two hoodies are alike. Zipper pull is a ball chain.
